Since we will be sealing the surface of your vehicle all the dirt needs to be gone so we have clean painted, metal, plastic, rubber and glass surfaces to work with. Using our own formulated water-based dewaxer, we remove all the road grime, dirt and other contaminates from the surfaces of your vehicle along with any waxes, silicones, or other auto care products that might have already have been used on your vehicle. This step is very important as it deep cleans your paint so that there is nothing on your paintwork that will inhibit the gloss, clarity, reflection and finish that our paint protection process will give to the surfaces of your vehicle. This step gives the applicator an opportunity to look more closely at the surfaces of your vehicle before the preparation steps begin so they have a better idea of what needs to be done to produce a perfect finish. .

Vehicles, including some new vehicles just picked up from the showroom suprisingly enough, will have fallout, overspray or other contaminates bonded to the surface of the vehicle. Washing alone will not remove this residue. We use our liquid clay product and/or a clay block to professionally remove the bonded material from the surface of your paint without harming your duco. Besides removing easily seen substances such as those shown in the example pictures to the left, smaller particles that still might be stuck to the surface will also be removed which help ensure that the surface is as clean as it can be before we begin to prepare the surface of your vehicle for sealing.

Every vehicle will generally have some marks/surface scratching on the painted surface of the vehicle. And no, dealers are not exempt from putting scratches on your vehicle. Scratches on your new vehicles paint can be from improper vehicle washing techniques used by a detailer while your vehicle was at the dealer or normal wear and tear from you vehicle being appraised by other would be buyers for instance. Bird, sap and/or bat droppings, and watermarks from acid rain can damage a vehicle that is on a car lot or that has been left in outdoor storage lots before it even made it to the dealers floor. Scratches/buff marks/swirls can result from improper use of tools and products while detailers were trying to rectify these problems or when your vehicle was going through the dealers pre-delivery department.

Used vehicles generally will have more swirl marks and spider webbing along with other surface damage resulting from improper car maintanance techniques by car owners, dealerships and/or carwash cafe staff and wear and tear on the vehicle. In any case, we take the time to fill in the swirl, spider, and bird/sap/bat dropping marks on the surface of your vehicle (we do not cut back paint) so that when we begin to apply the paint protection we are sealing in a smooth glasslike surface. You can see the finish that was able to be acheived on a used vehicle that was heavily marked in the pictures to the left. Obviously if we can acheive results like this on a badly damaged used vehicle, the results on a new vehicle will be equal if not better to the results pictured here.

Two seal coats are applied to your vehicle's painted panels/surfaces by our professional applicator and cured on the surface in our temperature controlled booth only after all of the necessary surface preparation is completed. This ensures results which can be seen in the pictures to the left. Gloss, shine, and clarity of reflection on the vehicle is unmatched by any other product on the market. The value of our service is really only fully understood by our customers when, for example, after 5 years of proper, basic, routine maintanence the treated vehicle still looks this good. In addition the the painted surfaces, the applicator will also seal your rims, all exterior glass and mirrors, and the indicator, headlight, and tailight lenses. This ensures that these surfaces will also fair well when exposed to the elements.

To finish off the vehicle the applicator will seal all external rubber seals and surfaces, all door sills and rubber seals, the boot sill and sills, the bonnet sills and seals, the windsheild cowling, the sunroof sills and seals if applicable, as well as the engine bay plastics, hoses, and enclosures. The tyres will also be sealed, and all residue will be removed from all panel edges and gaps on the vehicle. The vehicle will then go through a series of final wipes to remove any residue on the primary and secondary panels of the vehicle, and the interior surfaces of the glass will be cleaned as well as the sunroof glass if applicable. Your vehicle will then be vacuumed if this has not been done already during the treatment process.
